Exchange Program
(and other options)
Calipers are a valuable part of your vehicle, but so is your time. We have a few options to get your calipers back in your hands ASAP!
Pick an Option That Fits Your Situation Best
Option #1:
Buy Outright
(Not much of an exchange but if you don’t want to get rid of your originals, it solves the problem!)
Contact us with your preferences, we’ll source cores, rehabilitate, and ship directly to you. (You keep your originals)
Please note that for this process, a core charge will be assessed plus the service charge for the "rehab" work. A core return form will be included should you change your mind and want a core refund (see option #3).
Option #2:
Ship us your Calipers
Contact us with your preferences, we’ll make sure we have everything needed to start rehabilitating your OE calipers as soon as we receive them.
This process typically takes 5-7 business days.
Option #3:
Exchange
Contact us with your preferences & make a core deposit. We’ll source cores & get the rehabilitation process started. Once completed, you are invoiced for the remaining balance & the calipers are shipped directly to you. You will then ship us back your old calipers and once received by Caliper Coating Rehab, LLC, the core deposit is refunded. This is the best way to keep enjoying your vehicle & minimize downtime – especially if a professional automotive shop will be performing the swap!
What is a Core Charge?
A core charge, also known as a core deposit, is a fee that is added to the purchase price of certain automotive parts. It is a type of deposit that encourages the return of old, used parts (the “core”) so they can be remanufactured or recycled. This practice is common for parts like alternators, starters, brake calipers, and batteries. Here's how the Core Charge works:
-
The part you are purchasing contains a component that is rebuildable
-
The Core Charge deposit is charged at the time of purchase
-
When the rebuildable component from your old part is returned to us, the charge is refunded to you
